Buttweld Stub End

Description

The Buttweld Stub End is a high-quality pipe fitting used in combination with lap joint flanges to create a flexible and cost-effective piping connection. It is designed to be butt-welded to the pipe end, allowing the lap joint flange to rotate freely, which makes alignment and installation easier during piping assembly and maintenance.

Manufactured from premium-grade carbon steel or stainless steel, the stub end offers excellent strength, durability, and corrosion resistance for demanding industrial applications. It ensures a secure, leak-resistant connection when used with a backing flange, making it ideal for systems requiring frequent dismantling or alignment flexibility.

The Buttweld Stub End is widely used in oil & gas pipelines, petrochemical plants, refineries, fire protection systems, HVAC installations, water treatment plants, marine engineering, and industrial process piping networks. It is especially suitable for large-diameter pipelines and projects where ease of maintenance is important.

Available in multiple sizes, schedules, and material grades, the stub end complies with international standards such as ASTM, ASME, and ANSI. It is suitable for industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects across Doha, Mesaieed, Al Khor, and Ras Laffan, Qatar, offering reliable performance and long service life in harsh operating environments.
